Timi Dakolo - Let It Shine

Timi Dakolo has one of the most unique voices I've heard from a Nigerian artist. If I didn't know better, I would have thought he was an American Gospel singer.

He won the Inaugural West African Idol held in 2007, beating Omawumi to 2nd place (both of 'em were on the Inspire Africa Charity single). Since then, he's been touring the whole country. This is the first single off the Bayelsa/PH City boy's forthcoming album. Hope you like it. Happy Sunday, folks!

Chykay - I Just Wanna

Can somebody please tell me why a song like this lies fallow with little or no attention? I bumped into this song in the "randomest" of ways, and I've been stuck on it all day. The most info I can give at the moment is that he's an Ibo boy (Chike) based in the UK. Hopefully, he'll come out of the shadows soon enough. What do you think?

Another Sheyman production! It looks like he's the "go-to" guy when it comes to making club hits these days. Who are we to complain?
For some reason, this song reminds me of "yahoozee."... maybe not on the same level, but it will certainly get slammed in the West. Enjoy!
