The Nigeian Hip hop award winner for best rap single for 2008, M.I has been attempting this rap thing since '98. He hails from Platue, Jos Nigera and that's all I know; I can hardly find any information about his Bio online, but we will focus on his work so far. 

 

Most of the regular readers remember his 'No Long Thin' track that I posted about a week ago which garnered a lot of attention and comments. That one is small, his biggest record has been the 'Crowd mentality' song off his ''Pyeri Boy" album which earned him the award - the beat on that song is quite similar to Q-Tips 'Vibran Thing', but he is kickin a lot of good game on that track. Tryna break us off the Crowd Mentality.

Currently, M.I is working a new album called 'Talk About It' set to be released in 2008. I hope he releases it on iTunes so that I can get a copy. In addition, M.I was featured on Dj Jimmy Jatts album , 'The Definition' and I don't need to tell you that he has the potential of blowing up soon.
