The only thing you really have control over is yourself. It is important to
know and remember that. With that in mind, it is also Key to identify and
accept what you don’t have control over. Don’t worry there is hope.
Here is what I’m trying to reveal (I'll keep it short):
Quit the habit of hoping and wishing. Your mind should not be attached to the
outcome of situations, but need to be committed to being successful at what you
set out to do. How do you do that? Well it depends...
It’s your aptitude,
attitude,
activity (work ethic) and common sense
that you really have control over. You have to get all those things on point,
to where they work for you.
So let’s say you want to start a new business or you want start investing in
real estate, you can use the above to work for you:
Aptitude: What you absorb from reading, researching and doing your due
diligence
Attitude: Have a pleasant, confident and positive vibe about you and within you
Activity: Doing what it takes to make it happen, reading, researching, doing
the business model, implementing the business plan, making calls, setting
appointments and keeping them.
Common Sense: Knowing that Life is hard and does not always seem to work out as
we planned. Knowing that most people will not keep their appointments and
reschedule (not because they are bastards, but because its life and things come
up) and planning to make that accepted fact work for you. A good example can be
setting 3-4 appointments on the same day, most likely 2 people will call to
reschedule, this way you can be as productive as possible.
An obvious thought?
